Specialist Scientific Publications

Utilizing Print-on-Demand services, WGSBN Publishing produces specialist astronomical publications that would either not be economic for a traditional publisher to produce or that could be produced at a lower cost than traditional publishers. Initial books are the annual Yearbooks of WGSBN Bulletins. NEWS NOTE 2024 Aug. 13: The first three books were initially released for global distriubtion via other on-line stores, but this came at a cost: in order to offer books for global distribution, publishers have to offer their books to other stores at a 55% discount. This meant that the price had to be set high, and we could not offer them on this site at a more reasonable price. We have decided to pull the first three books from global distribution, allowing us to reduce the prices for our books. These and future books will only be available via this website. Pre-ordering for new publications is generally available two weeks before the release date. Pre-orders will be sent for printing a week before the release date and shipped as soon as they are received.
